INGREDIENTS

For the HTB Donuts

1/2 cup of Himalayan Tartary Buckwheat Flour

1/3 almond flour

1/3 cup apple sauce

1/3 cup non-dairy milk

1 tbsp olive oil

1/2 tsp nutmeg

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1/2 tsp cardamom

1 tsp vanilla

1/2 tsp almond

1 1/2 tsp baking powder

1/4 tsp baking soda

1/3 cup agave


For the Strawberry Glaze

1/2 cup powdered sugar

1/4 cup strawberries (or more to make it extra fruity)

1/2 tbsp lemon juice

1/2 tbsp coconut cream

Coconut flakes for topping (optional)

METHOD

Preheat oven to 350 F. Lightly grease your donut tins with neutral oil.

Mix together all donut ingredients until combined.

Pour the batter into each of the donut tins. Bake for ~20 minutes (you may need extra time, depending on your oven). The donuts will be ready when they are soft but firm to the touch.

While the donuts are cooling, blend together all glaze ingredients until smooth.

Gently pop out the donuts from the tin and dip them into the glaze. Top with coconut flakes, cacao nibs or more strawberries!
