Shipping

For domestic orders shipped within the United States, including Hawaii and Alaska, with a subtotal of $149.99 or less, the shipping charge is $15. Domestic orders over $150, as well as subscription orders being sent to US addresses, qualify for FREE shipping and handling.
Please note: We do not waive or adjust shipping fees when coupons are used on orders. We do not ship to FPO or APO addresses.

How much is shipping?

At this time, we can only ship internationally to Canada.
Orders being mailed to Canada will be charged a flat rate of $45.00. Please note: Some duty tax and carrier broker fees may apply, but we cannot predict them in advance. Please refer to your Customs Agency for more information prior to ordering.
Customs regulations can change monthly in each country. If not adhered to properly, your order is at risk of being returned or confiscated. We are not liable for any damages or additional fees caused or incurred by customs or carriers. We are not liable for and will not refund any orders confiscated by customs. You are purchasing at your own risk. If a package is returned to us either by Customs or the customer refusing delivery, and the items are in good condition, we will reimburse the order for the cost of the product, minus the shipping costs.
If you choose to use a courier service, you do so at your own risk, and we will not be held responsible for or replace orders shipped via courier services.

Do you ship internationally?

Our carriers include USPS, UPS, and FedEx. We’re not able to specify the carrier unless shipping to a PO Box, in which case we will ship via USPS.
 We do not offer expedited shipping at this time.

What carriers do you use?

We attempt to ship orders the same day. Factors like holidays, high order volume, and other uncontrollable circumstances can affect this goal.
Orders placed on weekends or holidays are generally shipped the next business day.

How quickly will my order go out?

Yes. All of our shipping materials are recyclable.

Returns and refunds are allowed for unopened products up to 30 days from the purchase date, with the exception of our Himalayan Tartary Buckwheat Flour. All refunds are applied to the original method of payment.

Please contact us prior to sending back your return. Any products returned to us without prior notification will not be refunded and will be returned to sender. No shipping costs will be refunded.

How do you handle returns and refunds?

Himalayan Tartary Buckwheat Flour is a perishable food item. We do not accept returns on this product. All sales are final.

Can I return my flour?

My Subscription Plan: Anything I purchase and receive via this plan is considered to be a final sale that cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded.

What forms of payment do you accept?

Your order is charged once it ships out.
You may see an authorization hold on your account prior to the order shipping. This is to ensure that the funds are available in your account.

When am I charged for my order?

Afraid so.
Taxes are determined by several factors, including the shipping destination of the order and the taxability of the order items within that jurisdiction.
We cannot change or waive taxes on an order for any reason.

Do you charge tax?

Most health insurance providers do not cover the cost of dietary supplements. There are efforts underway to include dietary supplements in Flexible Spending Accounts, but nothing to report there as of yet.

Can I buy your products in stores?

Big Bold Health is committed to providing you with highly effective, premium quality supplements. However, if you are not completely satisfied with a purchase, we offer a 30-day return policy on all unopened products, with the exception of our Himalayan Tartary Buckwheat Flour.
If you have unopened bottles, we’ll send you a prepaid return shipping label so you can easily get it back to us at no cost to you.

Do you guarantee your products?

All Big Bold Health products are manufactured in the United States. However, some of our phytonutrient ingredients may come from trusted sources outside of the US.

Are your products made in the US?

The FDA, guided by a piece of legislation often referred to as the DSHEA Act, has strict dietary supplement regulations. However, the FDA does not individually review and approve each dietary supplement like it does for prescription drugs.
Big Bold Health adheres to and exceeds all FDA guidelines for dietary supplements including those for development, manufacturing, bottling, and labeling.

Are your products approved by the FDA?

Never change your prescription or supplement regimen without first consulting with your healthcare provider.

Can I use your products to replace prescription drugs?

Big Bold Health dietary supplements are based on stringent scientific research. Current, valid studies published in peer-reviewed scientific journals are the basis of our formulations.
All our products are made by manufacturers who must meet strict guidelines, as well as Good Manufacturing Practices, in all aspects of production, testing, and packaging.
All product ingredients are tested both prior to and after manufacturing to ensure compliance. Additionally, our products are free of any preservatives, artificial colors, flavorings, and non-essential additives.

Subscriptions

When you subscribe to our products, you agree that the payment method you provide will be charged an initial fee (plus any applicable taxes) per subscription, and again on every recurring date that you have chosen, upon shipment, unless you cancel your subscription.

You understand that if you fail to cancel your subscription or fail to reschedule a shipment in the time window required, your payment method will be charged, plus any applicable taxes, per subscription. Sustainability

Easy.
We start at the highest level, incorporating our business as a Public Benefit Corporation. That's why you'll see us listed as Big Bold Health PCB, not Big Bold Health Inc. Public Benefit Corporations create legal guardrails inside their bylaws that allow company officials to prioritize the environment and social impact alongside economic profit. It's also the first step to certifying your business as a B Corp.
In our farming operations, we support a network of small farmers in Upstate New York who themselves are fully committed to 100% certified organic agriculture. You can find that organic seal on our flour, thanks to these planet-friendly farmers. And while we are not yet certified to a standard in regenerative agriculture, we are pursuing it in alignment with our farmers.
In our fishing operations, we're MSC certified for sustainability and were the first to market with an even higher standard specific to the Alaskan waters we fish and love. That's the Alaska RFM — RFM stands for Responsible Fisheries Management — standard you'll find on our fish oils.
And one last point. We are still a young company and need to prove to you over time that our actions can match our aspirations for creating positive impact on the immune health of our species and our planet. Look for our inaugural sustainability plan to launch later this year with detailed goalposts for the company over the next few years.

How do you approach sustainability?

Yes. All of our shipping materials are recyclable.

While we prefer glass, we found it was too fragile during shipment. Which created waste and repeat shipments, with all the environmental impact that entails.
But there’s good news: All the bottles in our current lineup are made with a blend of recycled and new bio-PET, also known as a bioresin.
Bioresins are a type of plastic that’s 100% plant-based. Ours is derived from feed-stock byproduct. This keeps petroleum-based plastics out of the supply, recycle, and refuse chains.
And while glass has been a standard in packaging for hundreds of years, many sustainability experts doing full lifecycle impact analyses on various materials point to bioresin plastic as a more friendly alternative for the environment.
We're also a Public Benefit Corporation. That's a legal designation written into the bylaws of the company that helps us prioritize our social and environmental impact beyond profit.
Here are a few of the ways that switching to bioresins has helped us here at Big Bold Health fulfill our pledge to care for people, plants, and the planet:

We’re reducing our carbon footprint everywhere we can.</li><li>No toxic plasticizers, like phthalates and parabens, that can leach into products.</li><li>No BPA or other petroleum-based chemicals that can leach into products.</li><li>The energy consumption to create, transport, and recycle plastic is 50% less than glass.</li><li>Glass recycling must be done in part with virgin quartz-based beach sand. If you didn’t know, there’s a global sand shortage that’s contributing to coastal erosion.</li></ul>
